MOON-AND-STAR: Do they have a prophecy or destiny connected to them? How do they feel about it?
Erlind, being Dragonborn has the prophecy of defeating Alduin attached to them, and depending on who you ask probably other destinies as well. They…don’t like the attention that it gives them, especially at first; they’d rather settle down and have a relatively peaceful and cozy life, but they keep running into problems and then by the time they end up fighting Alduin, they’ve already saved the world twice.

Anyway here’s my Skyrim OC Lanelle (not the Dragonborn)and her vampire girlfriend, Serana about to go into the Soul Cairn. Lanelle was faced with a bit of a problem, since she’s mortal, she can’t just waltz in, therefore she has to either become a vampire herself or become partially Soul Trapped which will weaken her. And Serana drops a line that still tugs at my heart.
Lanelle ultimately chooses to be a vampire so that she can still fight and shield Serana if she needs it.
